The fifth turtle for an old Artxilla contest. I named him Caravaggio after the Baroque style painter.

i like the drawing but the name bothers me. since all the other turtles were named after renaissance painters this seems weird for him to be named after a baroque painter

I gave him a baroque name because this turtle came around a little later in the timeline. At least that's how I picture it.

That's something I still haven't figured out. I was thinking of a variation of white and black to kinda pay tribute to Caravaggio's Baroque style of using light and shadow in his paintings. I never tried to color him though so I have no idea how he would look.

I love the look of this piece. It has a certain comic book feel to it. I guess it's because of the pose and the border around it. Great job!

Genious!! I would have never ever though of using a name from a painter in the Boroque style period! I really like his style, the way his sword is holstered, and awesome! good job! ^^

I just think the name owns :D Being a ninja turtle fan myself (who wasn't back in the late 80's/early 90's?), I can really appreaciate this on a lot of levels. Very cool.
